Some are still together and working, others have split up and gone their separate ways and some have re-grouped as different acts. From the Home of the Blues this 3-piece has vast experiences from playing clubs and theaters, to outdoor venues such as The Chicago Blues Fest, The Taste of Chicago & The ole’ Maxwell Street Market. This highly polished act has been together for five years winning over audiences everywhere with their sonic live shows. Balloonatic is a now sound, the band is certainly tight and advanced enough at this stage to create genuine interest over simple foundations without resorting to cliches. Beatnik Turtle
6-member Chicago-based equipped with horns and the occasional accordion. Original, quirky, strange, fun music that explores such topics as “losing one’s glasses in Canada” and thanking God for “Pop Tarts and a Pack of Smokes.” Alternative/Pop/Rock

Bent-Til-Broken
BTB is an original heavy rock band playing grungy rock with emotional lyrics. Heavy, melodic rock.

Biff & The Waybacks
Party Rock cover band. Classic rock, blues, altenative, oldies… 50s-90s & current favorites. From Sinatra & Elvis to Gin Blossoms and Goo-Goo Dolls. We cover a lot of ground and have a great time doing it. Good for mainstream mixed age audiences. Private Parties, weddings and corporate events our specialty. We also rock out at some of the best bars in the Chicago area like Durty Nellie’s, Harry’s Of Arlington, Flatlandr’s, Founder’s Hill Brewery, Navy Pier, Chicago Bulls pre-game, etc.

Big Bang Music Theory
Alterna-Rock, Neo Alterna-Rock. Big Bang Music Theory, a band and sound as bold as the name is the most unique act to emerge from the U.S. Focusing on songs and melody this 5 piece alternarock band from Chicago can be described sonically as hook oriented in your face guitars laying down a solid foundation for the sirenic vocals of a charasmatic seductress as lead singer.

Blameshifter

Bleeding Turnips
Just as no garden is complete without turnips, neither is the local Chicago music scene without this up and coming pop/rock juggernaut band. Known as the Bleeding Turnips, or simply The Turnips to their fans, this four-member band blaze through one amazing set after another with their own written originals and classic covers. Quickly becoming a favorite on the northside, they are now regulars at notable Chicago venues like The Elbo Room, Beat Kitchen, Rory’s and Weeds. They have parlayed that into regional, national and international exposure from their involvement in the critically acclaimed Blake Babies / Juliana Hatfield tribute CD Become What You’re Not. The Bleeding Turnips are all about clever, compact and driving power pop original tunes, but make no mistake…while they do amazing renditions of Blondie, The Cranberries and current superstars No Doubt, their real appeal is original material with a pop rock spin.

Blind Man’s Bluff
Blind Man’s Bluff play Gritty, edgy, aggressive modern rock with funk influences and a strong emphasis on vocal harmony. Lyrically, the band shares its most intimate reflections through powerfully resonant storylines. And Bluff’s rock sound is surprisingly organic, a fact which stems from the band’s unabashed use of all five of their faces in every song - from screaming high vocal harmonies to the best beat boxing in the world. Their live show is captivating - University of Wisconson says, “their look, attitude and sound sells to the crowd the minute they take the stage.” Blind Man’s Bluff have performed at Chicago’s House of Blues and United Center, New York’s Bitter End, and hundreds of colleges throughout the nation.

BareFlag Mulligans
Alternative Rock with an edge of Hard Rock and a touch of Punk. There is not one style that defines the music. Mostly Original Music (plays some covers).

Bob’s Yer Uncle
Original material-Modern pop rock-influences: Beatles, REM, XTC, Jeff Buckley, Yes, Genesis

Bone Daddy
Bone Daddy is available for Club, Festival and other gigs. Original Rock, Classic and Alternative Covers.

The Bones
The Bones is dance party classic rock band that performs a combination of original music from their CD called Down To The Bones, tunes from past projects, The Deep River Band (circa 1980 Erect Records LP) and classic pop rock tune like John Mellencamp, Stones, Wallflowers, Santana. The band features a guitar driven show with great vocal harmonies. The guys have opened for Aerosmith, Joan Jett, Ted Nugent, Mark Farner, The Safaris, Rick Nelson, The Outlaws, Survivor, Southern Rock Allstars, Jimmy Van Zant, and others. Classic Pop Rock / Original.

AC/DC tribute, covering the Bon Scott era-rock

Bosco Bear
A great mix of original songs and covers from the 60’s, 70’s 80’s 90’s & present. Paul Simon, Lucinda Williams, Wilco, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Janis Joplin & many more. I mix old and contemporary music along with my great originals to provide a great night for any event. I use acoustic guitar along with lots of backup from my partner Dave.
