Some are still together and working, others have split up and gone their separate ways and some have re-grouped as different acts. Carolina Scarabucci
Rock ‘n’ roll, classic and pop. I am a Brasilian singer but I like to sing in English, usually covers of Led Zepplin, Janis Joplin, Talking Heads, Alanis Morrissette, the Cranberries and more. I perform with my band or by myself playing the guitar and singing. I used to sing in bars and pubs at Brasil and have been working for about 5 years. I am writing some music and I am trying to break into the music industry.

10Cat Dance Orchestra

Solo baritone saxaphone player and music composer. Improvization.

Chicago Bluegrass Band
Bluegrass music. THE CHICAGO BLUEGRASS BAND (a.k.a. CBB) delivers slamming traditional bluegrass music with a big-city wallop. Featuring a blend of traditional bluegrass sound by the likes of Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, and the Stanley Brothers, the band’s forte is a healthy diet of original tunes about hard-times, love, death, and home.

Chicago Didjeridu Chorus
Tribal ensemble: Didjeridus, Djembes, Doumbeks, various percussion including bowls, gongs, shakers, udu Tribal rhythmic music.

Chicago Voice Exchange
Creative covers and humorous originals, for audiences from high-brow to low…Acapella. Available for private parties, weddings, restaurants, clubs and festivals.

Original jazz/funk-organic rythmic guerrilla jazz.

Folk/ Rock/ Soul. Singer songwriter/ multi instrumentalist: guitar, bass, percussion, pianos, trumpet and drum kit. Also a DJ specializing in northern soul and rare funk.

Circle Meets A Square
Punk. Fast punk. Original & from Milwaukee. Think of it as fast music for smart people. You could also think of it as smart music for fast people, which would be funnier but less accurate.

Award-winning, original acoustic duo based in Washington, DC. Contemporary bluesy folk/rock - with pop and alt country stylings.

Corey Dixon and the Zvooks

Cretin
Formed in the spring of 2000, Cretin has performed under the names of Mahatma Blondie and Outshine. After a year playing as a cover band in Chicago and the surrounding areas, the band decided to focus on creating and performing original music in the summer of 2001. The addition of Keith Thackston on vocals in December 2001 solidified Cretin’s line-up. With influences ranging from Tool to Phish, Cretin has obtained a unique and original sound. Jeremy’s odd time signature riffs blended with Mike and Yoda’s grounded but free rhythm patterns create the elite musical backdrop. Keith’s aggressive melodies and lyrics accentuate Cretin’s exclusive sound. Cretin has finished a second round of studio recording and has a demo CD available. Rock Band
